Temp blend door actuator?

Question

How do you get to the blend door actuator on a 2000 suncruiser? All I have is hot to warm air when putting on the ac after a refill of 3 cans to the ac. I think the ac is working because the pipes are cold and condensation flowing out of box.

Do you have an Evans Tempcon or Denso HVAC system? It makes a difference. Evans Tempcon uses vacuum controls and a water flow valve. Denso uses electric servo motors and a blend air door, no vacuum.

The control has vacuum i hear a small leak I believe that the knob has a leak in it. I did get air blowing through the system but it won't change temp?

You might want to clamp a heater hose shut and see if you get cold air. Sounds like an Evans with a bad water valve that won't shut.

I found it! The problem was that the green hose that goes to the vacuum water valve was broken so it was always getting hot water.
