Tent Campers

When we had a pop-up, we had a little shower tent that we used for our porta potti. Maybe the campers wanted the convenience of dumping their porta pottis on site. All I'm trying to say is that their is a reason, or excuse, for why anyone does anything. "ours is not to wonder why..." Peace...

I guess I don't understand your comment about sewer hookups. Perhaps I'm thinking of a different park. If this is the one in Washington's Olympic Nat'l Park, this campground doesn't have any hookups - no water, electric or sewer. It does have a dump station. It also has some sites that don't have a tent pad and perhaps if they were on the pavement, that's why. Did you mention your concern to the park? Perhaps they could explain it better to you.

It's a beautiful campground and in high demand. Sorry your experience was not good.

This is one of the most logical posts to me! There wanting electricity that they cannot get at there tent site.

I had a reservation! I just felt bad for the RV's coming in after being on the road all day and having nowhere to camp. There was also no cell phone service in this area.

My guess is they were all former diesel pusher owners who had made reservations awhile back and the (lack of) Obama economy is just catching up to them. They're some of the unemployed that aren't really unemployed, they just couldn't afford their DP any more. :B:B:B
