NEVER install 3M or Diamond Shield until the new paint has cured for at least 2 months. When OEM's starting offering this as an option, when you had to remove the Shield, the paint peeled. On units that had cured for a few months,(On our Lot) and we had it installed aftermarket, when removing, it did not hurt the paint. Doug
