We had the OLD Diamond Shield on our painted '04 motorhome. When we sold it 8 years later it was like new - absolutely no mold or whatever. We used 303 on it all the time, washing the bugs off as soon as possible (used auto windshield washer fluid in a bucket with about 12" water and the squeegee - a suggestion from semi truck drivers). Bugs came off with no rubbing. On our Alaska trip we washed it daily - LOTS of bugs.
We would highly recommend Diamond Shield.
When you hear of folks on these forums with problems with the OLD Diamond Shield, look at where their city is...most are in the south. I know nothing about the NEW Diamond Shield. Hopefully, you'll hear from some owners with it.
