2-3 years ago on I-85 just North of the VA-NC line I was in the right lane when everyone slowed. There was a unmarked dark blue sedan parked 10ft off of the road with no markings, no lights, and no one around it. Couple of mile up the road same car puts the blue lights on me and a deputy sheriff gives me a ticket for failure to slow for an emergency vehicle. I go to court to find a court room full of people from NC, DC, out of state with the same ticket from the same deputy. Everyone was guilty as the judge said "we have to protect our law enforcement officers out there doing their duty". Creating revenue, that's their "duty".
