First, I'm not surprised at all that TS was not acceptable. You could tell just from the pictures that there probably was going to be a LOT more going on. When you said 'wiring cut-up'.... that would be major to repair correctly.
Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned a good site to check out used units, so here is one.....

On Edit: I looked at PPL and unit number D725 is a '99 Monaco Signature, 42 ft. w/one slide-out. It looks in decent shape except the rear monitor has been removed from the dash. It has been mentioned many times to go with a high end unit for the best value and quality. You never know, maybe upper $30's might buy it (asking $46,495). Lots of motorhomes to view PPL.
