Don, I say go for it!
My Uncle was very conservative, he lived a very simple life. At 85, he found out he had cancer and it took him quickly. His estate made us all very comfortable.
I would rather he had enjoyed the money himself but maybe he did in his own way. Saving was his passion since he grew up during the depression (he would be 91 now if living).
If buying that new Newmar will not effect your retirement, I don't see why you shouldn't enjoy a new motorhome.
