What do extended warranties have to do with the OP's problem. The problem was with the repair facility not the one paying the bill. Extended warranties could be worth their weight in gold. I've had two and both saved me tons of money.
Anyway, to the OP I think pushing 80 you'll be sorry you tossed the levelers. Follow Doug's advice and find a repair shop that knows what they're doing. The one you've been going to are using your coach as a training unit - and at YOUR expense. Hooking up the batteries wrong was the fault of the dummy that hooked them up, not your coach. The best advice would be to pick and choose who works on your rig by doing some research before dropping it off. Ask for references. Another way is to ask on RV.Net for help in choosing a repair shop.....Dennis
