I use a Demco which seems to be overbuilt, which is what I want.
As to "scuff", been there done that. I have to be careful. From a dead stop if I cut the wheel one way hard and then back it will start skidding the front tires of the toad. Lucky I doscovered this in front of my house and I heard the tires scrapping on the pavement. If the RV is going left the rear overhang goes right and pulls the toad that way. The front tires steer that way. Then the sharp turn back to the left doesn't give the tires time to straighten up so, skid.. I now know to plan for this. I'm sure it's really hard on the toad's front tires to be pulled sideways. Probabaly no joke on the tow bar either.
