We started in a '12 Thor Hurricane 32A. Like a previous comment, this was our "entry level" motorhome to see if the lifestyle was for us. Later upgraded to a '13 Winnebago Vista 35B. While we always remembered the entry level part of our Hurricane, there were several functional areas where we always wished Winnebago was as good as Thor.
They were little things that we had gotten used to... three generator off/on switches WITH prime lights, separate switches for the overhead dash fans, a dash radio that would not lose its settings and presets just because the chassis/house switch was flipped to house when the house was turned off, valve extenders for the inner duals (I know there are some who don't like valve extenders, but much better to have and take off than not have at all), and a backup camera system that did not require the ignition key to be in the on position so we would use the right side camera as a monitor for the door.
Since we bought it brand new and proved to ourselves that we were ready for the RV lifestyle, we "upgraded" after one camping season before the unit was over a year old to reduce our depreciation hit (and it did), and bought the Vista. So we can't comment on out of warranty issues, but we certainly didn't have any problems communicating with Thor for the punch list items.
