Thor Motor Coach Axis or Vegas

I think we are getting closer to our RV purchase, We have done backcountry packing with tents on our backs, then pop up when kids growing up, we are now selling lake house and want to travel a bit thru National parks, etc.
I am a breeder of yappy dogs and they are coming with us!
Maybe bringing adult sons too

I really like the floor plans of the Thor Motor Coach Axis and Vegas.
Any one own one that wishes they didnt?
Any problems with them?
Wind problems while driving? windy roads out west?

    We use the bed in the 24.1 as a king. Yes, it's a little harder to get out of than I would like. I either scoot to the edge or crawl on my hands an knees.
    I feel it's a small price to pay for that big bed, which I love. We had to buy toppers because the rd mattresses are not that great.

    We have the 2015 Vegas. Downsized from a 34' Class'A'. We love the Vegas. Vegas & Axis are the same thing. Only problems are... make SURE to force the salesman to TEACH U how to replace the Engine battery!!! Almost impossible! Remove the inside engine cover before U have to on the road! Very difficult the 1st time. U'll want to modify it a bit. The available storage space under the silly couch is sealed up. I made the front a big door. Get rid of those STUPID inflatable matresses.

    Wow thank you all for responding, I see one in TX although would have to fly to get it, I like the queen bed in the back and the sofa with the seat belts
    in the vegas 24.1 how is the bed when you make it into a king, is it hard to get out of?
    Im getting so excited about this but it is a big machine to drive, hope my husband will do all driving.
    We want to go west to see the eclipse this summer.

    7K+ miles on ours so far. The size and floor plan works great for the two of us.
    Not big enough when our daughter is with us so she sleeps in her tent.

    I like their looks and floor plans just do some research on Thor before you jump in.

    We own a 2015 Vegas 24.1, love it. Go to thorforums.com for lots of good info. Many vegas/axis owners there. One member put together a great manual for the vegas/axis.
