Thor Vegas/Axis widespread E-350 Transmission Cable problem

Googled it and found that there is a bad problem with the Transmission cable laying against the rear end of the HOT exhaust manifold and burning thru. It will not allow the transmission to be shifted ...

Absolutley. I wanted to give the link because there doesn't seem to be much discussion on this forum about this problem. The thorforum duscussion has a few pages & pictures. It's scary to think this could happen & there's no recall.
