Unless you could find a very knowledgeable and reliable 3rd party inspector to thoroughly evaluate the motorhome, including driving it, I would not even consider it. Of course, that dealer will not allow for an inspector to look at or even drive it. Therefore, I think you are foolish to consider it. An 18 year old vehicle with 100,000 miles can have lots very expensive to repair problems. That $2500 non-refundable deposit is another deal breaker.
You can find better dealers to do business with and equal or even better motorhomes to purchase.
