Control number? What is that?
I just fueled at a FJ early this week. I put in my FJ card, then my credit card and fueled. I received 3 cents off per gallon.

The Control no. is similar to a pin no with a bank card. Stops anyone else from using your card if stolen. - HalmfamilyExplorer

X2 - outdoorloversExplorerUse gasbuddy.com. Much easier than using their over-priced fuel.

-Tom - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIIf it's Pilot/Flying J specifically then you do need a Flying J card. On the diesel pumps you swipe your PFJ and then pay inside after you pump. You receive a 3 cent per gallon discount and you can use your CC but pay the cash price.
If you pump from the RV pumps (gas or diesel) you first swipe your CC and you will be asked to swipe your PFJ card. You must do it in this order to receive the discount and if you don't you can't get the discount after you pump. If you have any questions BEFORE you pump just go inside and have them turn it all on for you. - Executive45Explorer IIIIF you have the rewards card AND you've registered it here's the procedure:
Pull to the pump and swipe the rewards card.
Pump will check the card and authorize "Pump Start".
Pump your fuel. When done, go inside to pay.
You will be charged the cash price less 3 cents a gallon.
If you've not registered your rewards card, then you must go inside before you can pump.
Remember the rewards card will only be valid for a few more months before the Good Sam Swipe and Save card takes its place. You can also get the RV Plus card which will save you 6 cents a gallon but you cannot use a separate credit card for your purchase....Dennis - 2ndhomExplorerThey all seem to be different. Sometimes the card will work at the pump and sometimes not. Not much help for you but that's what I've experienced.
