GM, I cover the tires if we are staying for a week or more. I keep 303 Protectant on them to shield the sun rays. I will replace the tires at 7 yrs. from the date code.
Our previous tires were 7 yrs. old (previous coach) and I received $50 each for them at the tire store (8x$50=$400). I'm sure they will be resold to someone for trailer use. At 7 yrs. old with 57,000 miles on them, they still had a lot of 'light duty' life in them.
