BUT! I was just studying to renew my drivers license in California and that was one of the questions that popped up. So I chose the answer that you have to accelerate when you get a blow out. WRONG! The correct answer was to let off the accelerator and bring your vehicle to a safe stop.

So here I was so positive I had the correct answer and according to the test I was wrong.

That was probably for a normal DL. Driving large rigs like ours requires different skills. The video is correct regardless of what CA says.

Just because some test aimed at the masses provides the "official" party line doesn't make the information technically correct. I ran into similar problems with the AARP driver safety class. Some flat out demonstrably incorrect answers provided in their literature
