My class C came with brand new ( the nubs were stil on the treads of the tire) not just on the sidewall. The DOT code on the tire is 5KRQ RC? What is that date code come out to?

I don't think you are reading the right thing................Try This

The date code is in a series of characters that start with DOT and ends with 4 numbers. The first 2 numbers of the 4 are the week and the last 2 are the year.Here is more info on the DOT code.The date code is only required to be on one side of the tire. If the 4 numbers are not on the side you are looking at, look on the other side.

The tire has DOT in front of those characters. I will check again

Just looked again, looked on all the tires fronts and the back duals same thing, I didn't check the back sides of the tires because I didn't feel like laying in dirt lol. They are capitol html tires and unfortunately they say they were made in Indonesia....

Well guess what you'r right after read gov specs only date on 1 side but only some info req on other side. thanks for catching mistake, can;t win them all

Yes they are on my greyhawk, and yes I just bought it in April

Tires still have 'nubs' and you have owned it for 4+ months.

You really need to go camping .........MORE :B

Yes you will have to lay down and scoot under to read inside of tire for DOT date code. And it your luck runs like mind the code will be up towards the top so you will have to scoot back out move rig and then scoot back under only to find you have now moved it where tie rod is in the way.....:B

The last four digits/date code are only on ONE sidewall. If "Bubba" mounted them, probably facing inward.
