Tire decision, Michelin, BFG, or Kumho
After 8 years, it's time to replace my 245-70R-19.5 tires. I got these prices from a reputable local store. They are all out the door including balance and new valve stems. Michelin.................

Kumho and Hankook are actually both Korean based tire companies not Chinese.
Both of these companies have also announced plans to build manufacturing plants in the USA. Kumho is building in Georgia and Hankook is going to Tennessee. The Hankook facility will will cost $800 million with 1800 employees.
On the flip side Goodyear has made tires in China since 1994 and Michelin since 1996. In 2012 Michelin announced plans for building of a new $1 BILLION facility in China.
