That is what i'm asking about, Effy. I just got this coach, the tires are 5 years old and i'm gonna be using it soon. I will probably buy a used spare just to have something with me incase I do blow one out. I am still going to call coachnet and see what they have to offer.
Yeah, in that case no insurance for the tires but I would certainly sign up for road side assistance. Not only will they bring you a spare and mount it (you pay for the tire) they can tow you, offer trip interrupt hotel, trip planning service, technical support, all kinds of things. I am not sure about Good Sam but our Coachnet covers all our vehicles and Rv's whether you are traveling or not - not just the MH. It's all inclusive road side assistance for anything you own.
I bought it 3 years ago and needed it on a trip. We took our TOAD into Pittsburgh and it broke down. They towed it about 50 miles back to our CG and it cost me nothing. The tow driver wasn't even in Coachnet's network, but Coachnet (unlike some other RSA's) called everyone in the yellow pages until they found us a company that could take the call. That tow driver said Coachnet is the best RSA they have worked with as they get paid right away and 100%. He said he shunned Good Sam calls because they often discounted his rate and paid him 90 days later. Personally I want my tow driver happy.
like I said, others have good luck with GS, but that's my story.
