Tire Pressure Gauge and Chuck

Hi, recently picked up our new 2014 Fleetwood Bounder Classic 34B. I ordered a Milton dual tire chuck and Slime dual tire gauge, but the angle is way off on the 'inner' stem. You physically cannot get the chuck or gauge to seat flat on the valve stem. Anyone have better luck with certain brands and where did you purchase from?

Thanks.
  • Had the same issue with our rear inner tire when we got our MH. CW sells a variety of extensions in different sizes and angles.
  • My extenders never leaked air but, I did change them out and put new ones on when I put new tires on my coach. The old ones lasted 10 years!
  • OK everyone, I finally got the Slime valve extenders. They are made of rubber with pressure fittings on each end. They were not easy to install on my mh because of the small holes in the hub caps, but I got them finally and they seem to be of good construction. Checked with tire gauge and they work well. A couple of the tires need air but that is to be expected. So far I am pleased with these extensions, but time will tell if they leak like braided valve extenders.
  • Here's a Sample of the type of chuck that works well with dual wheels. It's available on the net or at most auto parts dealers.

With this type of chuck the only problem I've had is with tire mechanics that don't align both stems at one hole or even with a hole in the outer wheel. Twice I've had to take the MH back & have this corrected.

  • You can get inner dully valve extenders at any Truck stop. I just bought one from TA, because my older braided extender started leaking.
  • Slime makes extenders for the valves on dual wheels, the amazon link to them is

I just ordered 2 sets for my mh as I also cannot get the tire gauge around the "hubcaps" that are on my mh. If you wait a few days I will give everyone an update on how well they work.
