Tire Presures ... Hot and Cold
I know tires have recommended pressures listed on the sidewall and always assumed it is the hot number. Is there an average rule of thumb as to the temperature swings between hot and cold. 5, 10 or 15...

The recommended pressure will come from the tire makers chart according to the actual weight on the tire. Actually individual axles/singles or duals. Failing to have actual weights, start with the pressure recommended by the manufacturer, it will be on a label somewhere on your vehicle.
