The people that buy these expensive motorhomes don't even know where the batteries are located, much less how many or how much they cost. They have an issue they drive in, drop it off, then pay $$$$ and leave. Not all are mechanically illiterate but they have money and could care less about ever turning a wrench on one.
I have always wondered how people make this work. I have been in too many situations where I had to fix it myself then and there or things were going to get ugly in a hurry. This is more true in boating and I go back before cell phones to hollar for help were a thing but I can't imagine being that dependent on strangers no matter how much money I have in my wallet. Most of the time I try to get anything other than a car serviced I am told the wait is 3 weeks or more. Maybe enough dollars can buy expedited service but that has got to be outrageously priced.
