If they are hammering the wrench or adding some more after the wrench clicks then your nuts are over torqued. If so, go home, loosen, and re-torque properly.
Make sure you loosen them rather than just clicking on an already over torqued nut; a placebo.
I find this amazing, I usually watch and if the method is questionable, I will re-torque. When I am dealing with my own tires,I do use the impact wrench to run the lugs down at the lowest setting, just snug. Then torque.
