Just a note, the stress wasn't coming from owning the dp, it was me stressing myself out thinking ahead to much on what to do. As far as useage, we take 3, 1 week vacations a year in it currently. I have 9 more years to retire and my wife has a little more than that. Between excise tax, insurance and my annual oil change, he coach costs me approx. $2,000 a year before I start to camp in it. I don't have a payment on it so other than expenses that pop up along the way and fuel, that's it.. The diesel pusher was definitely a want more than a need. I don't regret buying it but I can't see myself traveling it at when I retire. If anything, I would trade for a fifthwheel or newer motorhome for retirement as by then, mine will be 18 years old.
