Towing a Prius
Has anyone ever towed their Prius? I know it needs to be on a dolly but am getting mixed answers from Toyota.

- Toyota is giving me mixed answers. One dealer says, no problem, another says oh no. The owners manual is really confusing.
- As far as I know, just needs a dolly.
- Have you checked in the Owners Manual for towing?
- I think the Prius is front wheel drive in both electric and gas. Of course when running electric it is different setup. I wonder how all of these only electric cars might tow.
- I assume you mean on a dolly. I towed Prius for several years on a dolly with no problem other than dolly was pain in the butt. I saw a guy towing a Prius four down in a campground in Santa Fe and he was gone before I talked to him so never learned how he was doing it and never heard or saw it again.

- Almost any FWD car can be towed on a dolly. What is Toyota saying?
