Trans mission

I have the f53 chasse with the ford V10 not sure what type of trans mission I have but what happens is only on take off from a stop to a start you give it gas and nothing happens after a second or two it kicks in and works grate after that it only slips when you take off from a stop and not all the time dose I know this isn't much to go on but if anyone out there know anything about trans missions
Any help would be appreciated.

    How to make your signature so we can serve you better:

    1. Log on and click "My Preferences".
    2. On the "My Preferences" page click the middle box and enter your rig info.
    3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Submit Changes"
    4. Exit and you're done.


    Have you ever had the transmission fluid changed?

    Check your trans fluid level. It needs to be done with the trans warm and on a level surface.

    It can do this if the fluid is low, make sure you check that.

    Need to know the year of your coach to determine which transmission it has.
