u have only 32000 miles on it? you said u changed "several times" already; A ISL can go 20000 miles on oil change;
so how could it need a oil change already??
The manual for my ISL said to change the engine oil at 20,000 miles or annually, which ever came first.
yes iam well aware of that.mine does too. means nothing really Cummins say 20000 miles so U cant tell me that if u go only 4000 miles and its a year you have to change the oil.If you look cummins and Allison always put a time factor in there just to cover their butts. Iam a believer in looking after stuff but sometimes you have to have the ability to read between the lines so to speak
I presently change mine every 3 years or 15K miles
