- BordercollieExplorerOften asked question. We carry a 188 pound Honda Trail 90 on a 40 lb aluminum hitch rack on our 27 foot Tioga. Requires ratchet straps and has a ramp for loading/unloading. Somewhat awkward requires two people. Two collapsible bicycles might be a better option if there is room in your cargo hold. Mounting scooter on a front rack has some "cons", impedes access to engine, can bock headlights.
- DrewEExplorer IIIf you can rig up some safe manner of putting the carrier on the front of the motorhome (without blocking the lights or radiator air flow sufficiently to be a concern), that would probably work out a lot better from a weight and balance point of view than a rear mounted carrier. It may not be possible or practical to do this. There are front-mounted hitch systems around for the Ford and probably Chevy van chassis, at least. (Your profile says you have a Monaco Knight, which doesn't appear to me to be a class C?)
- F1bNormExplorerMy Winn B+ has a hitch rating of #350 downforce. Don't know what your Sunseeker is rated at, but I'm guessing your Honda is around #400 plus the weight of the rack. I would try to borrow a rack and see how it handles. On a MH this problem is exaggerated by the long distance between the rear axle and the hitch. Not so much on a PU or van.
I used to carry a Honda 100 dirtbike, I think I'm around #225 total. It's enough weight that I had to pump up the airbags and I could feel a difference in handling (but not bad).
Currently, I have an enclosed box trailer to carry the toys. What's nice about the trailer is your bike is out of sight and it doesn't get covered with dirt (it will on the back of your MH). I also use it to store the bike(s) in the back yard saving space in my garage.
Norm - SweetWaterSurprExplorerWe took an AutoMoto Scooter with us on our last trip to the Keys. Really worked out great. If the weather allows then you can pretty much head out anywhere.

We are thinking of attaching a Honda Reflex 250 on our Sunseeker as we travel around. Any folks out there with scooters or motorcycles that can tell us how that works out? Thanks, Lee
Works well, I had a scooter on for two years and now use a 1981 Honda 400 auto.
