The reason you put Dicor, silicone, or whatever
under a Travler is to
prevent moisture from getting under the base.
However, if you want to ensure your Travler never, ever comes off your RV's roof, first install an all-metal
SKA-008 mounting plate using
3M 5200 Marine Adhesive.
Then screw down your Travler onto the mounting plate. Just make sure your put some kind of sealant under the Travler.
