Triple E Embassy - Help Needed

Good Morning,

I am new to forums and to motor homes. Please bear with me when I ask stupid questions and make forum social blunders.

I have yet to purchase my first motor home but I have found one that looks OK.It is a 2003 Triple E Embassy,31 foot,V-10 with 30,000 miles.I do not know the chassis or tranny.

Has anyone had any experience with the Triple E brand of products ?
I am quickly approaching analysis paralysis of the brain as there seems to be so much information out there for rookies like me to absorb.

Any information, opinions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

thank you !

  • Welcome to the forum...

We knew people from Canada that had a Triple E of your vintage-they loved it and I was impressed with how it was put together.

There is a ton of information here-about units like yours and others-everyone's ideal RV as well as use is different-read a lot and ask questions-use the SEARCH function here rather than just 'googling' your RV questions!

There is an awfully lot to learn and experience when you get into RVing-take it all in stride(if you can)-understand that more of the 'bad' gets posted than the good-enjoy the ride!
  • Welcome to the Forum and world of RVing!

We all start out as newbies so don't worry, we're here to help!

    This may help....2003 Embassy Brochure.

It's built on a Ford F53 chassis with a big 6.8L gasser engine...so parts and service are easy to find and you can DIY most maintenabce yourself.

    Chassis info!

Good luck...get it checked out by a good RV mechanic first.
  • You have the Ford chassis with the three speed plus overdrive transmission. The year of your chassis would have to be determined, but if you put the VIN number in on the Ford web site you will see which year. Also if you have Bilestein shocks on the MH?
As you can see our 2003 Motorhome is on a 2003 version of the Ford chassis. The 2003 year had an increase in the HP and the tourque I believe.
Triple E make very good sturdy units that are designed for the Canadian climate. Most people I know are very happy with their Triple E units.
We love our MH and it has been a great unit for us.
