- JiminDenverExplorer IIHow many watts do they pull?
- RayChezExplorerWe love our induction stove. And yes you have to use steel or cast cookware.
- KimmySExplorerWe installed an induction cooktop when we purchased our Dutchstar last year. It heats water rapidly. We purchased the induction pots and pans for it. When I'm not using it, I cover it and use the additional counter space. We love it!

I hear you must use pots that will attract a magnet like steel or cast iron. Aluminum won't work. Is that true?

- CbonesExplorerOne of the best additions to the mh. Add a set of Magma induction ready nesting pots, and you are golden.
- Big_KatunaExplorer IILove it. I'm going to get a residential stove for the house.
- GreydennyhawkExplorerOne great thing about the portable cooktop, is that you can set a specific temperature, with, say, a cast iron crock on top of it, put on the lid and it now is a crock pot. We don't have to carry that with us now.
- kayakcrazyExplorerSo far we love it. Only been out a few times this year but will be heading west in a few weeks so will give it a good testing then. I love bacon but don't like cooking it inside (spatter and smoke). My first item was boiling a pot of water and it seemed to boil faster than even the kettle.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIILove it since it puts less heat in to the rest of the coach and it will boil water much faster when you are at higher altitudes. We store our portable induction cooktop in the microwave when we are on the road.
