TV placement...

Has anyone here changed the location of their TV's? The class c models usually have the TV above the cab in the entertainment center or on the wall etc.. But I have yet to see one that looks like it would be comfortable to view from the.dinette or the couch. So do folks just use multi-directional mounts to compensate for this?
  • I mounted our flat screen on a adjustable mount, pivoted for best view and works fine. Not every seat in the RV will be perfect, part of being in a small space
  • The one in our living area is above the counter and directly across from the sofa and dinette. Only uncomfortable if you are sitting on one side of the dinette. And it's 32"

  • Mine is located in a cabinet above the dinette, opposite the sofa, thus unwatchable from the dinette. But it is still kind of high, so if I did watch TV much I would put it on a swing down mount to make it closer to eye level.

If you watch TV, location relative to seating is important. If you don't watch TV, where it is located doesn't much matter.
  • There is always the option of a TV that sits on a table. Easy to view, although may be annoying to hook up to an OTA antenna or satellite.
