Hummm, now there's an idea I didn't even think of. I do have ducted AC vents that should be a straight shot all the way from the front to the back. Just feed a snake through and pull the cable.
To the OP: I like this idea better than my idea of using the plastic channel attached to the ceiling. I'll have to look into this one.
