MY setup is....cable (provided my the campground) to my factory installed hookup...gives me the best picture available. NO HD tho.
When using my DirecTV satellite dish (I have a S & S setup) tripod, dish (single LNB) strength meter and compass....after a 5-10 minite setup, THAT also goes thru my factory installed "cable" hookup. Still no HD, but a perfectly acceptable picture. And...everything goes thru a passive junction box where all I have to do is push the correct button (ANT/Cable/Sat)to use whatever I happen to need.
Which brings me to the next question: Other than WANT HD...do you really NEED it? Well...maybe. But I don't. It all boils down to "how much you wanna spend?"
But that wireless thingy sure looks neat......hmmmmmmmmmmm
