TV

Has anyone tried the FREE TV KEY advertised on TV in their RV's ? Sounds ideal if it really works which I doubt. I've usually found that if it sounds too good to be true, it really is.:R

  • I'd REALLY like to see one of those working a boat, with the boat bobbing up and down in the water. Even docked, the boat still moves.

It's another snake oil. Oh, it will probably pull in over-the-air stations, but, stick a paper clip in the coax cable connector on the back of your television and you'll get HD also. Maybe not as many stations, but you'll get them!

The flat antenna's that simply attach to the back of your television have been around for a while now. They all work about the same way. Without amplification and the ability to move them, you're wasting your money. The batwing on your camper is really the best you can get!
  • No such thing as an 'HD Antenna'

Yes it is an antenna for OTA (over the air) signals

HD is a function of your TV tuner not an antenna

It is just a fancy coat hanger (yes you can get OTA signals with a metal coat hanger)

Within reason it will work just fine......not near as good as a roof top Crank up Winegard Batwing antenna.

Can't rotate it, fixed lower position and not amplified
  • Google says it is a 2nd generation HD TV antenna. Good for off air channels only. Getting it attached to back of TV might be an issue, but I'm sure you could run a 3ft RG6 cable off the back of the TV, and plug the antenna into it, and lay that on your dash...
