I am Larry the original poster for this post. I posted it to warn others of the hazards of having propane on the rv's. This incident is a total loss of humane life. Two as a matter of fact. While this may have been a complete neglect of responsibility of turning everything off before retiring it is still a preventable loss in my opinion. Those of you who have offered an opinion on what happened as well as my punctuation may as well have offered an opinion of the lost plane that has occupied the news the last couple of weeks. A tragedy to say the least. Several have offered the MH builders should clean this up. I believe the builders of the appliance should step up and make this simple turn of a button not functional. You should at least have to push it in to allow gas to be available to light and hold long enough to sustain a flame. Similar to the in house gas heaters. If heat does not actuate the thermocouple it does not allow the flame OR gas to continue to flow. This loss should be a message to all to get together and create a complaint to the authorities involved to remedy this. I think we can achieve this if we all apply our opinions toward this problem. Not sure where to start but this is where I stand and will be the first to start the issue in response that this tragedy does not happen again. Thanks for your interest and time LARRY
