I was told in years past ( from a Thor representative) once the RV leaves the factory it's the dealers responsibility to do the maintenance, keep batteries charged and full, wheels greased, etc.
I can assure you "most" dealers only do the basics when they receive a Unit from the manufacture before putting it on the front line. If a proper PDI is done that should have been caught by the dealer, but they most likely never do.
After you take delivery it's your responsibility to keep the batteries topped off. I check this monthly. And they usually take some distilled water, and we don't have a solar system, so this is even more reason to check them often.
