Unlevel alarm?

New to me 99' Harney renegade pusher on a Magnum chassis.. When we get into a little unlevel situation when driving, or even when we hit harder bumps (we live in Illinois!) an alarm sounds briefly. Sounds like it is coming from the Allison shifter area, but could be jack control area? That thing could drive me batty....er.
Anyone with experience with this?
  • I've never heard of an "unlevel" alarm - but I do learn new things occasionally.....

As Wolfe mentioned, I have had my leveler system alarm go off while driving down the road when they were low on fluid. Stopped several times to check the levelers and they were always up where they belonged. Finally checked the fluid level. At first I didn't think that's what it was because at most, I would only be able to get another 1/4" of fluid in there. Since I had it, I put some in and the alarm quit. Hasn't gone off since.

  • If you have the RVA jacks, you could be a little low on fluid. Correct way to check fluid is to extend one jack (front is easy to see) exactly 6".

Have someone in the driver's seat. If the alarm in sounding, you slowly add fluid until the alarm just quits.

The helper job should not cost you over one beer.
