Upgrading Front TV
I am about to take on the project to upgrade our front TV and I am undecided what brand to buy. I have seen good reports on Samsung. We have A 50" Panasonic in the stick house which we are happy with....

I changed out the 25" tube TV in front and installed a 32" JVC, (LED). Nine pounds verses 50! I went to Costco and looked at the brands and compaired pictures. I think it might be individual preference as far as brand goes. Others are right about the sound. It can be tinny and hard to hear if you enclose it too much. I installed a Phillips sound bar with sub-woofer, (behind the TV) because I like better sound for movies. It also has an input for an iPod or similar digital player for great music. I have yet to try to replace the TV in the bedroom. I just need to measure to see how big I can go and decide how to mount it.
