Looking at building itineraries for this summer....an interesting trip looks like taking US 95 south from Spokane Wa. through Lewiston and McCall and ending up in Boise Id. Looking for comments from anyone who's taken that road. We're 65' long with the toad...thanks in advance....Dennis
Dennis,
The route you've selected is by far the most scenic. The Lewiston hill that folks are referring to is rather steep, but a very good highway.
Between new Meadows & McCall is a narrow highway, not too long, but doable if you take your time. You will also encounter two other narrow passages just South of Cascade, neither of which are very long.
Do you intend on staying over night in Boise? If so, I know of a nice RV park within a few miles of entering town, easy access once you've entered the city. The park is right along the river that runs through town & there is a Greenbelt running the full length, one side of Boise to the other.
