We have a 2000 Monaco Monarch and have been full-time for 5 1/2 yrs having purchased the coach when it was 10 years old. Our is built well and we are not sorry we purchased this coach. We actually like it better than many of the new ones. There are many items on ours that is standard equipment that is an optional upgrade on other coaches. Pay attention to size of A/C units, furnace, frig, ducted or non-ducted, # of gallons for the water heater (10 gal much better than 6 gal) Does the water heater operate on just propane, or is it gas and/or electric. Heated water tanks for winter (when you use the furnace) quality of the carpet/pad - woodwork, dual pane windows etc. Sometimes there is a big difference.
