I've googled this term and found nothing that pertains to RVs. In other equipment PTO is power take off, for running other machinery. What is a PTO in motorhome terms? And wet?
The PTO system drives the HYD fan and steering oil and if the dry splines go bad it can take out the transmission and maybe the radiator. If a person wants to keep the dry system needs to be greased once a year, so I had the wet PTO installed. Total cost around $895.00, if it goes out the bill can run close to $25k
