Being on consignment changes some things. If the dealer is truly selling it on consignment the selling price is set by the MH owner. Yes, the dealer has some input on the selling price, but if the owner has set a bottom price limit then he probably doesn't have much room to deal. Besides he is probably only getting a % of the selling price as payment for selling the coach. That is probably why he wasn't ready to slap on a new set of tires when he was told the originals were 11.5 years old. If the owner said no then the dealer would eat up his commission just replacing the tires.
