Used Winnebago or New Sunseeker?

Some of the people like the Winnebagos because they hold their value better. I will have to check NADA to see if that's true.

My comment on MSRP was simply that there isn't enough difference between the two when both new to justify a similar price when comparing the winnebago at 3 years old.

x2. There isn't enough difference in MSRP for a 3yr old Winnebago to match the price of a new FR. The Winnebago is overpriced. I would work on getting a better price and if I couldn't get it I would go for the new FR.

Not to get off topic but does anyone know what the interest rate Rv direct charges? I see you can save a couple hundred dollars by going through them for financing. Thanks to all.

Our Sunseeker 2300 is now a year old. We are completely satisfied with it. Have had nothing but a few very minor warranty issues, which were promptly dealt with by Forest River. Purchased from RvDirect.com for a great price.

They are very similar to each other, it sounds like the quality of the cabinetry may be better in the Winnebago.

fisherman, yes I beleive the full warranty does include towing for breakdowns, you would need to call and ask them. I just got another flier in mail about them extending the quote purchase period, but like I said we are just going to keep the TT.

Call Cory @ 800-667-8601 ext 610. He is the guy I dealt with and was very nice and professional. Answered all questions asked no dodging around. He will be able to tell ya who is available in your area for repairs if needed. Yes you will need a letter indicating that everything was fully functioning prior to purchase by the selling dealer. He will also explain that.

IMHO there is a message there. the winnie has already taken the "new" hit, the sunseeker hasn't. but how are they equipped? similarly?
