Using Motorcraft Oil

I forgot to mention, my B+ is a 2012 with 8500 miles on it.

I buy it at Walmart. It's readily available just about any large store...

I also buy mine at Walmart. Walmart also sells the Ford oil filters.

AutoZone carries it too.

Not sure why your buying Ford branded oil but any oil that matches the SAE standard is plenty good

Motocraft is a synthetic blend, it's a great oil and doesn't cost any more than other similar oils.

By mine at local auto parts store. Can be had anywhere.

My E450 has 3500 miles on it. We are about to put 2200 miles on it. Should I change now or wait until after. I will use motorcraft oil and filter from Walmart.

If you have not changed your oil yet since new, now would be a good time. There is a much higher level of break-in metals, extra silicone sealants, etc. in a new motor's oil.

Here's an example of a 5.0L Ford V8 first oil change at 2285 miles. I do not run the first oil change (or any actually) to the manufacturer's recommendation.
