Can anyone tell me for sure year Ford came with the higher horsepower engine. I think 07 or 08.

Ford skipped the 2005 model year for F-53, then extended the 2004 model year and started producing the 2006 model year as early, to fill in. Most 2006 MY motorhomes should be on 2006 MY chassis; some 2005 MY motorhomes got built on 2006 MY chassis.
If it has the five-speed automatic (tow-haul button) it is 2006 or newer.
