WOW...I go out camping this weekend and come back to 5 added pages of (IMO) non-value added typical gas vs diesel bickering and chest beating...sorry...so I figured I'd add more non-value to this thread with this post! :-)
The mods here in the Class-A forum sure seem to tolerate more than the mods in the TT or towing or TV forums on this topic...LOL...
I agree, Joe. Isn't if funny how we move up to big Class As, and in this forum its the same age-old discussion, same 'non-value' posts as you call it, all over again? Yet another case of, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same'. Hahahaha!
Well, I'll add some non-value post, too, but at least I'll have some fun in the process:
Joe, man, when we gonna meet up and do some camping, like you mentioned in your post? Hoping we can meet you at Mammoth Cave next summer, but still not 100% sure when we're going to get up there. We're thinking about doing Atlantafest one week, then heading north from there up to Mammoth Cave in June.
Maybe we can get together at another Ford Truck rally soon? You know, I still technically have '10 burning, and 4 turning' with the V10 and dually drive wheels! Ohhh, wait, thats right, you can't, you sold out BOTH us V10 owners as well as the Ford gang entirely, when you went to a loud, stinky diesel built by Cat. :)
(Hahahahaha, just kiddin, man! :B )
Heater isn't working, Joe? LOL, I wouldn't even know if our dash (or furnace) heat was working or not, as its still warm enough here, we haven't ever yet had occasion to use either. :)
There, if we're going to throw out non-value posts, might as well have some fun, too. :)
Will...yes...I indeed threw out my Ford...own 2 Chrysler products and a Mini Cooper now...soon to have a 2001 or 2002 Honda Civic for Mia when she starts driving (free car from Tracey's uncle for Mia to drive)...so I'm fordless for sure!
As far as Mammoth Cave...we're still up for it...I'm just not sure what our summer travels will be like next year...I do know we're planning on spending a couple of weeks at a beach (Jersey for some and NC for more)...we'll be driving back through Charlotte to see my aunt and uncle before hitting Asheville and then looping back home...but that is likely going to be in July...so...we'll have to see what the overall plans show...but we do want to meet up with you guys again!
and yes...it is amazing that the level of "discussion" doesn't ever seem to change on this topic...does that mean that because I have no ford and I drive a stinky ole torque monster of a diesel coach that we can't technically be friendly any more?...HOGWASH...
joe.
