I find this info hard to believe. It does not differentiate between cars & trucks. Like I mentioned earlier, since the '70's, I have never had to add oil between changes to my cars. The article states normal usage is 1 quart per 1,000 miles. I have never had to do that with any of my many cars since then, so I question the source (Customer Connect).
