Today it's 92 degrees out and have had the generator running for 4 hours or so. The generator has stop on us three times, and after a few minutes I could get it started again by playing with the choke...
The hose could be collapsing inside, that causes fuel starvation. When suction is reduced when genset shuts down the hose opens up and allows the fuel to get through. I would still be looking at the hoses!
