- Passin_ThruExplorerShop around, some Genturi prices are a total rip.
- polar76ExplorerThanks…
Lot's of good ideas here… :) - haydoracinExplorerI'll add a question about a possible solution. What about going through the roof and using a Genturi to vent the exhaust? In my case I have a metal roof and already have a vent through the roof for a gas furnace from an attached garage. Was thinking about replacing the elbow of the vent pipe with a "T" that I can hook the Genturi to as a vent for the generator. Comments?
- the_silverbackExplorerI used dryer hose thru the garage wall because it is flexible. I then attached a coffee can over the free end sliding the dryer hose all the way in and fastening with several layers of duct tape. I cut a hole in the other end of the can just SLIGHTLY larger then the gen exhaust pipe. The can/dryer hose assembly can slide over the exhaust about 6or8 inches. because the hose is flexible it can adjust for not parking in exactly the same place all the time
- powderman426ExplorerMy first suggestion would be to install a good CO detector. Carbon monoxide can kill you.

Thanks guys, So you installed the 3" SS pipe, and then ran fence pipe thru that?
Is the pipe mounted in it permanently? or do you set it up just when you want to run it?
Actual exhaust pipe is placed in service only when used {Hurricane)
Since you are installing thru wood, you may want to see what your local Fire Marshall may suggest.
I couldn't use a exhaust door port as my garage has heavy steel roll up doors. - Born_To_TravelExplorerCan you go out the garage door?.. http://ddmgaragedoors.com/parts/exhaust_ports.html
